Dr. Christian Hurst graduated from Ohio State University School of Veterinary Medicine, and practiced in Ohio for the first year prior to moving to New Jersey. He lives in Hawthorne with his wife, who is also a veterinarian, together with two dogs and three cats. He has been practicing Veterinary Emergency Medicine and Surgery in West Caldwell for the last seven years where you might have met him with your pet on evenings and weekends.  As you can imagine, Dr. Hurst is comfortable with a variety of pet emergencies, and enjoys performing surgery. He can often be seen in Goffle Brook Park walking his dogs. He also likes kayaking, yoga, snowboarding, and traveling worldwide.
